€1.8 billion in debt arrangements

doValue has taken a number of measures to support Greek households and businesses in this difficult juncture.

Since the beginning of 2020 and until the end of October, it has made debt arrangements amounting to €1.8 billion for more than 43,000 loans from all the portfolios under management. Of these arrangements:

  • 88% correspond to individual/household loans (€1.6 billion)
  • 12% correspond to business loans, mainly to SMEs (€200 million)
  • 7,000 loans were settled through debt relief solutions

“Fully aware of the difficulties the economy and society are facing, we continue to provide support by all available means and with viable initiatives and solutions.”

Moratorium on loan payments

Especially for households and companies affected by the COVID-19 pandemic crisis, a moratorium on loan payments was implemented. Specifically, a moratorium was imposed on 86,000 loans.

Meanwhile, around 50,000 borrowers with more than 52,000 loans joined the Greek State’s Bridge Programme, so as to benefit from a state subsidy on their loan instalments, provided the main residence is the mortgage collateral.

Employee protection and safety

doValue employs 1,000 people in Greece. Since the outbreak of the pandemic, it took all the necessary measures to ensure their protection and safety. For example:

Implementing a high teleworking rate

At the workplace, wherever possible, beyond what is mandated by the State.

Carrying out COVID-19 tests

It carried out tests and instituted 15 days of teleworking for the entire staff upon their return from their summer holidays.

Adopting and strictly implementing all the measures/protocols for protecting against and limiting the spread of the infection

These include social distracting, free distribution of masks and hand sanitizers, disinfections, installation of special filters in lifts, installation of thermal cameras for temperature measurement before entry in the work areas, prohibiting face-to-face meetings, etc.).

In addition, at the initiative of doValue:

  • Volunteer flu vaccinations are performed on all employees interested in and entitled to them based on the relevant directive of the State.
  • Medical advice and tests are available at all times by the company’s workplace physician.

Continuing with viable initiatives and solutions

Fully aware of the difficulties the economy and society are facing, doValue Greece is continuing to provide support by all available means, and with sustainable initiatives and solutions.
